PayPal to Green Dot withdrawal

Hello: 

I confirmed my green dot bank (deposit sm ammount & it was revearsed and confirmed on PayPal) on Monday at 730 am est. At the same time I transfered $ from PP to GD and it said it was complete and would take 1 business day. It has not shown up on my Green Dot debit account yet. Can someone please tell me how long it takes? I've been navigating these 2 institutions with money that was sent to me since Thusday and am running low on patience and NEED that money?

I recently encountered the same problem. I talked to GreenDot because PayPal said it was our bank holding the money but GreenDot says that money transfers are instantaneous and that it's 100% on PayPals end. I talked to my uncle who is a lawyer and he said that it's very possible that PayPal is holding money longer in order to get more in interest. If so, that is very illegal so I'll be looking into it more to find out if this is true. From the information that I have gathered so far, it happens with everyone and it happens with many different banks so its obvious to look at PayPal for this issue. Most likely they are holding our money to get more interest out of it. I absolutely need my money and since it's Friday, I bet PayPal will be holding it longer so that I don't get it until Monday and they get the most out of it
