PayPal has placed a temporary hold while we're reviewing it.

- I sold an item on ebay

- The money from the buyer came into my account on the 5th November

- On the 10th the customer wanted a refund as the product didn't work

- He then put in a refund request

- I asked if a partial refund was ok

- He has now today closed the refund, as it started working

Though the full amount of the order is now on hold:

"PayPal has placed a temporary hold while we're reviewing it. We'll contact you shortly with further information."

So now I am a little lost as to what to do, as any money I make on ebay is now going into paying off this negative amount.

Too much going on once the dsipute was opened; it will take time for PayPal to figure out the entire process. 

Did the buyer actually open a dispute or just ask you for a refund?  If there were no dispute, the proces would be easier.
