How do you make a recurring payment Via PayPal Giving (as opposed to just PayPal buttons)? I see that you have found a way (though not via mobile), but I have yet to discover HOW? Where do I tell my donors to go to create recurring as opposed to one time? I'm not technically illiterate, but they are certainly not making it easy... I will continue to look for answers to the mobile question as well!

Ok, now the recurring payment option isn't on the desktop website either!!! I know I was not imagining this, there was a radio button that gave the option of making this a recurring payment on the giving fund website!!!
Why has this been taken away?

I just received the following from support:
Thank you for taking the time to contact PayPal Giving Fund. I am happy to assist you further.
Correct, this has been identified since the new page rolled out last week. Our engineers are working on the update to bring the option back. We are expecting the update within the next week or 2.
If you have further questions regarding PayPal Giving Fund, please go to www.paypal.com/givingfund
Sincerely,
Karen

Unfortunately, that's the same copy/paste answer they gave me almost two months ago... guess they need to hire better engineers if something seemingly this simple is taking them this long to fix. I mean, it's not like it's a new feature, they had it on their old website.

PayPal Giving Fund is proving to be a shockingly poor product with service like this.

I am so dissappointed with PayPal, they convinced me to switch all my donations network for good and to tell all my charities to waste their time to set up paypal accounts , and now they can't fix a simple error like automatic payments.

I agree. HUGE issue for non-profits. IGNORED BY PayPal. Not good and they don't seem to care. PayPal, If you do care, prove us wrong and offer a reasonable explanation: 1) Why was it first working then dropped? 2) Will it ever be restored? 3) When?

At the risk of getting slightly OT - we are looking at switching from Network for Good. But I made a trial donation and (1) we didn't receive an immediate notification of the donation and (2) the receipt email from PayPal Giving Fund doesn't meet IRS requirements.
When they eventually hand over the money - in this case probably 5 weeks from the donation - do they send detailed donation information, or do we have to keep logging in to find this out?
Am I missing something, or is PayPal Giving Fund not a viable alternative to Network for Good, fees aside?
