Pay After Delivery Not Available

I know this has been asked many times. But why doesn't pay after delivery show up as an option? I have searched and read many posts about this issue. But I haven't found a solid answer other than it only random shows up or whatever. My account is verified and linked to my bank account. I do have it set as my preferred payment option but I don't see it when I try to checkout on an ebay item. Anyways I'd rather not deal with customer service if it's just going to be a hassle, so hopefully someone can help me out here. Thanks...

Yes I am experiencing the same problem. Just bought items two weeks ago using PAD now I try to buy from same seller and it is not available no more. Hmmmm call PP over 6x and 6x given a different answer. What they need to do is see if there is a glitch, but they won't . They just give answers and they are not making any since. 

 

My thing is if you are offering the PAD as an option then it should be up to the seller to either use it or not. If PP is not going to make it available to sellers as an option. Then delete it . And not making excuses that it is up to the seller to accept it. It should be up to the buyer.

What's worse is that I go through checkout and it is available but when I refresh the screen it disappears.

I get the same thing from customer service, but as an eBay seller I can tell you it's not up to the seller, there is no option to accept or decline pay after delivery as a seller!  And why would a seller not accept it? The seller is paid immediatly with PAD so they don't care either way!

Pay After Delivery is getting bad! In the last 6 months I have made 50+ purchases on eBay using PAD, never had a problem with check out, or with the withdrawl from my checking accout 14 days later. Now in the last few weeks I've had 2 purchases that PAD was not available for.  I called customer service, and the said the same things they always say: "it's not available for all purchases, some sellers chose not to accept PAD, we have no way of telling you why it isn't available, it just isn't" FRUSTRATING!  Now as an eBay seller, I know there is no way to not accept PAD, and why would I? The seller is paid immediatly, and has no way of knowing wether it was PAD or not, so that's just customer service lying, or not knowing what they're talking about. They say not all transactions qualify, but have no guidlines what so ever to tell me what does or does not qualify! I purchases two of the exact same item from different sellers, one qualified, one didn't! I'm so fed up with this I'm looking at other payment options on eBay, and will probably just quit buying on eBay all together, which sucks becuase I like eBay, but paypal PAD ruining it for me.

I am through with ebay and Paypal. After I pay this last purchase they are history. I had even contacted the CEO of Paypal / rcvd a call from one of the representatives that work with the CEO.  So since someone from another IP address tried to mess with my account the pay after delivery is no longer valid. And this is what I get when I call a representative from Paypal. " It is still on your account" stop .. just stop. You know that I can no longer use this option. Never .. Never had any problems with Paypal. Always paid my bill. Always in good standing.

 

I was told by the CEO representative that I can still make purchases but had to use another pay option. Why?? Because someone tried to pull something from my account in California. And then he said Oh well you had tried 250 times. 250 times right so I had time to do that. I am so unhappy and now I have to take to fault because PayPal is suppose to be secured but it is not. 

 

And another thing I did not even get an email from any PayPal representative that something was going on with my account.  No one emailed me... no one sent me letter.. no one called me. I am ready to go to the BBB on this.. this is how upset I am. 

 

Went to check today to see if the Pay Delivery is put on as an option and it is not. And I am not about to try to see anymore. Because I know just because you say it is there. Does not mean it is.

Looks like Walmart isn't one that's connected to pay after delivery either.  That sucks!!!  Those are one of the ones that really sould be... ;

I was told by a rep this morning that they have a limit of 500. I know that is a lie because I have used PAD for more than a total 500 worth of items. Just recently it has become not an option for me. I need answers.

Do you have a list of sellers or stores that accepts PAD or know where I can find a list. My PAD is active, my bank is linked and is set aas my prefered  method of paayment but when I try to make a purchase anywhere through paypaal the only  payment option that shows up is my PayPal prepaid mastercard  that I linked to my PayPal account but not as a prefered payment method. It won't give me the option to pay with my bank or PAD and doesn't even shoow my bankkk. It only shows my prepaid paypal mastercard, I have never oce been able to use pay after delivery even though it says it's active  on my account and that  my bank is my prefered methood of payment. Doo I   need  to have  all the money in  my  bank to  cover the purchase beforePAD will appear? Thanks in advance for your help.

Just dealt with this issue this AM, paid for transactions where it specifically said it was PAD, some went through that way, some didn't. Called and was on hold for nine billion years (later discovered on FB their system appears to be having other issues) and still, "nope, nothing we can do". I have now contacted my bank to decline these charges, sent an email to the CEO and a Director of Customer Experience, as well as posted on their FB page and sent a private message. 

 

Complaint with Consumer Affairs department is next....

Hello,

 

Recently, Pay-after-Delivery (PAD) completely disappeared in our eBay transaction. Here's how we fixed this:

 

* Deactivate (pause) PAD option completely

 

* In Wallet section, go to your Checking Account:

---- Select it as your Preferred Payment (yellow star)

---- Activate PAD for this account

 

Now try to check out again.
