Anyone else having this problem so near the holiday! I have tried to make purchases online at walmart, target, toys r us etc. which all have paypal buttons. I just get error could to try another form of payment. I just linked my billmelater acct and paypal acct. I have a large line of credit. Not sure why this is happening!
PayPal Credit is not avaialbe for all merchants, not avaiable for all products, and not available for buyers unitl all security and risk parameters are good. You will know that PayPal Credit is available when it pops up as an option at payment time.
If payment failed to come from PayPal Credit, then you simply cannot use it to pay. The option to use PPC may not be available for all purchases even though those places accept PayPal. Were you able to use PPC before prior to linking BML to PayPal? Is your PPC new? Were you offered PPC or did you apply for it? PayPal reserves the right to restrict the use of PPC based on the circumstances of each purchases.
