As the title reads. I don't want my personal name to show and i'd like to change it to my nickname at least if i could. Is this possible without it effecting anything? I just use the account to receive donations.
Just like a bank account PayPal uses your real name for your account. Anyone sending you money must be able to see your real name or your business name.
