I was nervous about being falsely chargebacked on my main account, so I tried to transfer my remaining $111 to my linked bank account, but the transaction was pending as it's the weekend and all. I really didn't trust leaving my account open so I ended up closing the account 10-15 minutes later. Is there any chance the money is still being transferred to my bank account?
Transferring funds to your bank account will not prevent a buyer from filing AND winning a dispute. PayPal does not close your account as long as there is a potential for disputes, so a buyer can still file a dispute and get a refund, placing your account in the negative. PayPal would then require that you satisfy the debit.
The transfer will probably continue as it takes 3-5 business days to complete.
