Hack! Fake business robbed $1000 from my personal bank!

Hello community,

I just realized I've been robbed for $1000 😞  I've tried every aspect of help and call in numbers, sure hope someone can help!

My personal account was turned into a business account and funds were transferred from my personal bank account, then sent to this fake business. I can't figure out how to turn off this business to regain my personal account. (Yes, I have changed all the security details.)

Sadly, the transaction was in August. Every attempt on the website Resolution Center ends in errors. I am so mad I didn't see this sooner!

Any ideas on options here?

Thank you kindly,

Deanna

Why didnt you contact paypal over the phone if it was a fraudelent transaction amd let them know they would have fixed the issue right away thiers something fishy with that on your part it sounds like your Bs ing and saying that someone took $1000 out of your bank account and then trying to get the money put back in it as if it wasnt taken out by you when it was probably you frauding them thats why you havent contaced them on the phone because your scared that they will find out the truth tjat you yourself opened a business account and learned how to have money taken out amd then trying to get paid twice by disputing the $1000 when you already have it and are trying to have them give you another $1000. If im wrong then i apologize but ive been in the business along time and seen these incidents before amd 9 times out of 10 thats infact what has happened.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I rarely use this account and simply didn't notice it until my annual review last night. There is a fake business name, address and phone number. I didn't setup the business account. I have called PayPal a few times and can't get through the ivr system to talk to a human. Anyone else have any helpful ideas?
