Ebay account is in Germany. PayPal account is in U.S.

I set up my PayPal account when I was living in the U.S. Now I live in Germany. I have an Ebay account in Germany and want to sell something. Do I have to create a new PayPal account in Germany? or can I use the U.S. account? (I would prefer this)

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

The only exception is U.S ex-pats can add their bank accounts to other countries paypal accounts (paypal is a U.S company so they allow their citizens to do this).
