I received four payments of identical amounts in the last two weeks. On three of these transactions I was charged $3.81 by PayPal and on the fourth I was charged $5.62. Why might this be?

I looked up the fee schedule and found that the fee is higher when receiving funds from a PayPal account that is based outside the U.S. Doesn't matter if shipping is within the U.S. Case closed.

That may not have been where your buyer paid from however.
If they are abroad on holiday and pay you where they are it shows as an international fee, just a thought.

I see nothing that indicates an international fee added to the regular fee. Shipment tracking indicates delivery to an agent, but that shouldn't matter. It wasn't delivered to the international delivery depot, but I haven't noticed any extra fees when shipping internationally that way.
