how can i get my sort code & account number for my paypal account,as i need it to pay for certain items

Your email address identifies your paypal account.

If you mean you need to link a bank account then your sort code and account number should be on your debit card or online banking info.

If I'm the one receiving money and the payer wants my sort code, why can't they just transfer to the email address associated with my account?  They are an online magazine, I'm sure they are reputable, but if the sort code is a bank account number, I'm not sure they need that, do they?

I've had other transfers to my account from individuals and companies in the UK go through without needing a sort code.  Help!!

The only way to send money from PayPal to PayPal is by either phone number or Email address

THEY DON'T NEED YOUR SORT CODE NOR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER

As PayPal can't do a direct transfer unless you're withdrawing money from your PayPal to your bank.
