I bought a transmission from a business on craigslist for $300 and there was a $300 core charge for my old transmission.
I returned my old tranny and I got a refund back to my credit card, so so says Paypal. My credit card company told me no funds have been tendered to them from Paypal
I've read several times that when Paypal sends refunds or partial refunds back onto a credit card from witch the funds originated that it can take several days for the credit to show up.
That simply isn't true. When I got my tranny in, I also went to Autozone to get some loner tools. The tools were picked up on a Tuesday and returned on that Friday. My credit card statement shows both transactions; the charge for the tools, and the refund of the charge when I returned the tools on the days I picked up and dropped off the tools.
So, if Autozone is able to process a refund on the same day to my bank with the same credit card I used for the transmission, then why is the transmission core charge refund taking weeks longer?
