payment not cleared

Hi. I made payments for an auction I won on ebay but the seller says the funds haven't been cleared and he wont post the item before the funds are cleared which according to him is on the 21st if this month. What should I do?

HOW did you pay via PAYPAL-Paypal fund,credit card,bank transfer,e check?

e heck will take time to clear.
