how can people in Colombia link their bank account to paypal?

Colombian accounts may add a US bank account. Here's how you can add a bank account.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My money under My Profile.
4. Click Update in the Bank accounts section.
5. Click Add Bank.
6. Enter the required information and click Continue.
7. Click Add Bank Account.

Hello, I have a friend in Colombia who receives payments from AirBNB when people stay at his apartment.  Is there a way he can link his Colombia bank account to receive the money in his PayPal account?  If not, how can he access this money?

Hi Susie...i did exactely what you suggested. Paypal recognises Banco de Bogotá but it can't link to my account. Any advice? THanks Chris

I tried that, but it seems to work only for US banks, my savings account in Colombia doesn't match the numbers the website is expecting.
