I currently have $250 in my PayPal account, I'm trying to send $150 to my partner and I keep getting the following error message "You must add funds to your PayPal account before sending more money." my PayPal account is verified, and it's a few months old. Any ideas?

This is happening to me too. I am going to cancel my account with paypal. It's not worth all the hassle.

Same here!  Except the money I sent is actually missing from my balance--the seller never received it and the transaction is not showing up at all in my history.  I verified that the email address I sent it to was correct, so that's not the issue.  Would really like to know where my money went!

maybe someone can help me because I am really confused.  I signed up for Paypal connect when I made two ebay purchases. These purchases were deducted from my $500 limit. ($44.40) I understand I have to pay that amount back but on my homepage it reads:

• PayPal balance: $0.00 USD

PayPal Smart Connect x-****

View card details

Current balance: $44.40 USD

• Minimum payment due: $0.00 USD

I too am getting a message asking me to add funds in order to send money. Normally it charges my credit card. This might be my first pay pal use using my mobile phone. I wonder what I am doing wrong. I have used this verified account occasionally for several years.

I'm having the exact same problem. Has anyone found a solution by any chance? I have $85 in my account and the payment I'm trying to send is only $10. I'm 100% verified. Why can't we send any money? It's a payment that I NEED to make and the recipient only accepts paypal for their kind services.

When it comes to receiving and sending money, shouldn't these problems be among PayPal's top priorities to fix? I feel that it's pretty important. Though, I'm sure they're overwhelmed with bug-fixes as it is.

I just hope they find a solution soon
