Hello! I'm new to the PP Forums, and I wanted to know: what is an invoice?
I had done an online trade with someone for real money, I gave him the items, he supposedly gave me the money through PayPal. However, I do not know what an invoice is, and based on my online research, it's something that I had paid without my knowing. I wanted to verify that he actually paid me.

Also, this is what was inclosed under Terms and Conditions inside the invoices: "This is a PayPal Gift. The amount can take up to 24 hours to reflect in PayPal balance. This gift is non-refundable, the buyer won't be able to retrieve his money again. PayPal has you covered."
This is what was under Note to Recipients: "You have received a Family/Friends PayPal Gift! This payment could take up to 24 hours to reflect in your PayPal balance however this payment is fully paid for and is transferring into your account. This transaction is non refundable. Any charge-backs or disputes will be declined by PayPal."
Seems fishy.

If it says
"invoice"
can't be reversed or disputed against
is a gift
won't show for 24 hours.
Then you have most likely been scammed. NEVER send anything unless the funds are showing in your paypal account balance first.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
