Virtual Credit Card for when I only have a bank account?

Hello. I live in the Netherlands where all payments are done via bank and it is very uncommon for anyone to have a credit card, like in US or UK.
This is a problem when I want to order items from many websites that only accept a credit card payment. I can go around the web and create a virtual credit card, (or even order a prepaid) and then load it with money via PayPal. But that is very long, troublesome process, I don't know how secure it is.
Just overall it would be a much easier and integrated experience if PayPal offered such an option. I don't see why not... I just create a virtual debit card that uses my PayPal money. (for a 2-3% fee perhaps)
If such an option isn't there, then please advise me to an alternative. I need to be able to add money via PayPal or iDeal and pay online where only credit/debit cards are accepted.
Thank you very much for your time.
