Thinking About Switching

Hi guys!
I am hoping if anyone knows of something similar to PayPal that doesn't force people to always use their bank accounts first before their credit cards.
I've been using PayPal for a long time now. It works fine for me except for one fatal flaw: the account always prioritzes my bank account rather than my credit card. It bothered me before and recently I had it up to the last straw when I got automatically charged to my bank without the option of switching the payment to my card. I'm a bit skeptical to use my main bank account so I use a small account in a different bank that has close to no fundings. If there's anyone that can enlighten me on a different service or a workaround on this crappy default setting I will greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

If you are making a purchase and want to use your credit card why are you using PayPal for the payment service.
I always use credit cards for purchases and it has nothing to do with PayPal.

I rather have websites I don't trust have my PayPal information rather than my credit card information. I feel like it's less of a hassle than having to call my credit card company if something unfortunate happens.

Strange that you are not able to prioritize which backup funding method to use for purchases when you are using PayPal because I could with my acct. It usually lets you pick the funding method (credit/debit card or bank acct) when you checkout of a shopping cart. When the shopping cart directs you to PayPal and after you log in, it allows you to pick the funding method, at least it should.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I read a couple days ago from a PayPal admin, the PayPal reviews payment options and will override your own choices based on their security mode. PayPal will select the option that gives the least risk to PayPal.
