Saving invoices on one's computer

Hello,

I'm a little confused. I have a few invoices I sent for my work over the summer, and I need to have them available for tax purposes. I can print them, which I will, but I also wanted to know if it was possible to save them as a .doc or a .pdf or any other kind of readable file on my computer, as that would also be quite helpful.

Is it possible to do that? Because if it is, I can't seem to find out how. For clarification, I'm talking about downloading and saving each invoice made through paypal for the purpose of keeping them on my computer.

Thanks.

There's no PayPal features or options to do what you have in mind however, there are software applications that do what you want to do.

We use an application called "novaPDF Standard Desktop".  You install the software and it configures itself as a printer.

When you want to print an invoice for your records, just open the invoice, click on the Print button, when print window pops up, you will see the printers attached or loaded on your system.  All you do is select "novaPDF", pick or browse the path to where you want to save the file and name it.  The invoice is then saved as a PDF file.

Over time, we have found this application to be very helpful for lots of other projects.

There's also another application called Foxit PDF Reader, you can get the basic version for free.  It's similar to Adobe Reader but, has a few unique features.  When you install this program, it also installs a printer where as you can use it to print PDF files.  Similar to what I described with the other application.  Check it out!

Hi -

You can simply click the "Print" button on the invoice. When the print screen comes up it should have an option on it to save as a PDF.
