Refund

I had payed for an item and requested a refund. I payed with a prepaid visa gift card. I recieved notifications of the refund being completed since Febuary 29th and still have nothing in my paypal balance.

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c (paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine).

Have you checked the gift card to see if your refund is there?

The payment's Transaction Details page should tell you where the refund was sent.  Click on the payment to see the payment's Transaction Details page.
