Questions about Friends and Family

I just sold an item valued at almost $5000. The buyer said he paid through Friends and Family. (I did not ask him to do that. He volunteered it.) The payment showed up in my paypal account. I transferred it to my bank account. The message said it would take 3 to 4 business days for the transfer to take effect.  I want to know when and how I can be sure he cannot claw the money back.

Questions

1. How can I verify that he used Friends and Family?

2. When is the payment transaction final? Immediately? Once the transfer to my bank account is complete? Other?

He can still do a chargeback directly via his card issuer if he funded the paypal payment via a card and if the card issuer found in his favour then paypal would come after you for the money.

If you did not pay it back then your account would be limited and they would sell the debt to a collection agency.
