I got approved for a $3,000 credit line through PayPal credit and I've only have used $403 of it. How is it that I don't have any credit to make any purchases?

What and where are you trying to buy with PayPal Credit? Can't buy adult, digital goods, weapons, alcohol, and vehicles (auto parts and accessories are allowed) on eBay with it.

 

There are two ways to choose PayPal Credit. If a merchant has a PayPal Credit button at checkout, you can simply choose that option. If you don’t see a PayPal Credit button, check out with PayPal anyway. Then you’ll have the option to select PayPal Credit as your payment method on the review your payment page of checkout.

 

PayPal Credit may not be offered as a funding source for every purchase. Some PayPal merchants don't accept PayPal Credit. In addition, please note that even if a merchant offers PayPal Credit as a way to pay, PayPal reserves the right to restrict your ability to use your credit line depending on the circumstances of each purchase. If PayPal Credit does not appear as a payment option at checkout, you will not be able to use your PayPal Credit account for that particular transaction.

 

Your purchase attempt might need further verification. To protect the security of your account, PayPal checks to make sure the information provided during checkout matches your account details. If they aren't able to verify some of the information provided, PayPal will decline the purchase and notify you via email.

 

If this occurred and you'd like to try purchase again, make sure the information entered on the merchant's website matches your PayPal account details. If any of these details aren't up to date on your PayPal account, you can update your profile online.

Here are some common things to check:


Is your name spelled the same? Avoid using nicknames or abbreviations.
Is the phone number the same one we have on your PayPal account?
Does the email address you entered match the email address we use to communicate with you?
Did you enter the correct billing address at checkout? Is your billing address different than your shipping address?
