Problem with gmail?

Everything is fine except for the one merchant whose invoices come in under a gmail account.  She says that I am the only person that has problems sending her money and she uses the same account.

This is the error I get when trying to pay her:

We're sorry, but your transaction couldn't be completed using the selected card, MasterCard .........(I erased the number for privacy reasons)   because it has been denied by the card issuer. Another payment method has been chosen for you. Please continue with this payment method, or choose a different way to pay.

I called my card issuer, no problems there, never made it to them, called paypal a month ago because this happened before when I tried to pay her.  She called paypal and they said everything was fine and she has received payments from others via paypal.

Is there possibly a setting I need to change?  I've looked everywhere I know to look and cannot find anything ....

HELP!!!!!! and many thanks!

@Ladyelf

Are you trying to use an American Express card? If no, what type of card is it?

Which payment method is PayPal selecting for you?

Hi Sandy,

No I'm using the same debit card that is linked to my account that I have used with everyone else.  It is just this particular seller using a gmail account that I am having problems with.  The first time I had the same problem. My debit card company is not even receiving the transaction, I talked to PayPal the first time it happened and they said everything was fine with my account.  I am selecting the correct payment method.

Again, not a  problem on my end, is Paypal having a problem with gmail accounts?  That's what I'm wanting to know.

Thanks!
