Payment for goods sent to wrong paypal addess

hi everyone can't believe this is the first post on this but I cannot find the answer - I have sent a payment to the wrong paypal address and it has been claimed and the recipient won't respmd to my emails for a refund there only seems to be help for unauthorised payments but 

this is my error

Not much you can do other than ask the recipient to send you the funds in return.

 

You did authorize the funding, so you can't claim unautorized.

 

Such errors are less likely if the seller sends a PayPal invoice.

If it has been claimed and they won't refund you then your best bet is to file a dispute for non receipt of item (as long as you used the send money > goods option to pay).

 

Then as they have nothing to send you they would have to refund you.

If for goods/services, then, yes claim non-receipt.

It much too easy to make a mistake when you send funds as it's so easy to mis-type an e-mail address.  That won't happen with an invoice payment.
