Payment failed to Adobe

I have a subscription with Adobe for $9.99/month. On Feb 24, I got an email from Paypal stating than my monthly order had been processed. Hours later, I received an email from Adobe stating that the payment failed. I checked my Paypal account online and it showed that the payment went through. So I contacted Adobe and they claimed no record of the transaction. I tried to dispute the transaction through Paypal, but it went nowhere. Any idea what to try next?

Next, try calling PayPal customer service.  Start with the "contact" link at the bottom of the page.  Obtain a one-time passcode before calling.
