Money not showing in account

Hi, hope someone can help....

yesterday somebody paid £100 into my Paypal account but I still can't see the funds. He paid it in by entering my mobile phone number and shortly after I did receive a text message from Paypal saying that I have been sent a payment of £100, to claim your payment go to paypal.com/myaccount. I have clicked on the link to my account but I still can't see any funds. My profile is 100% completed and I had linked my mobile phone to my account before he sent the funds, I also received a text message from Paypal thereafter confirming the link is completed. So I don't see what the problem is? I've read on the Paypal FAQ that payment is instant so would have thought it would show by now.

Any ideas?

If you are trying to receive a different currency than your normal currency ie £ instead of $ then you have to claim the first payment.

No, it's GB pounds into GB pounds.

Might be helpful if you are posting on the US forum and not the UK one to actually say what country you are in so we don't waste time giving you the wrong advice.
