Money Transfer

I've been wondering for a long time why it takes up to 5 days for a money transfer from my bank account to the PayPal account. Everybody else can do it it 24Hrs. or less. In todays electronic age, PayPal could definitely do a faster and better job.

Yes, I would like to know the same thing.  Most places do ACH in 1 day or immediately.  The other day I almost got overdrawn in my checking account because Paypal took so long to take out the money I sent.  It didn't even show up as pending, and it had be a few days.  I had forgotten about it and thank goodness I remembered to check before I had to pay how many NSF fees! 

Especially because the Paypal account and bank account are linked you would think payments and withdrawal to and from each other would go thru right away, why can they???

I do not understand why it takes so long  to transfer money from my bank account. I made a request last week and now it says it will not be posted to my account until March 11th.  This is not the dark ages or snail mail, things are electronic now. What is the hold up PayPal?
