Making alternative minimum payments

• I am having financial difficulties and I would like to know is it possible to make alternative minimum payments

When yet get a bill you either the minium or you don't.  When you don't, then penalties will be applied.

I want to pay £7.80 each month is that possible

You could pay that amount, but if is less than the minimum required amount, you will be charged a penalty and more interest.  Eventually PayPal would close the account and submit it to a debt colllector whilch will find a way to collect the funds you owe.

But if  I don't have the money they want or valubles that equal that amount what can they possibly do

Once the account is turned over to collections you would no longer be able to use PayPal again and the debt collectors will hound you until you pay.

That's the way debt obligations work.

The way to erase debts is to go through the bankruptcy process.

I was redirected to debt remedy but I didn't find them helpful any suggestions of how to make this better

Minimum payments are for a reason.  You could look for a debt consolidator separate from PayPal, but that would have significant costs.
