I find it very irritating that paypal is holding almost all of the money I have made on ebay..in the pending funds portion..Are they gonna pay me the interest they are collecting on all those shipped and received purchases..The people have even left positive feedback and I am still waiting on most of the money, not to mention I had to cover all the shipping costs out of my pocket!!

Just curious, is your PayPal account verified?   If not, that would be one reason for the holds.

Yes it's been verified for quite a few years as a buyer

Just further proof that PayPal is not a reliable service and should not be accepted at any site.  Our company has stopped accepting PayPal purchases because of the unnecessary delays. I recommend taking advantage of similar services through reliable financial institutions. If you check the fine print, PayPal doesn’t promise anything and they don’t over deliver.  Mtpocket, when do unnecessary transaction delays become theft?

Of course they aren't going to pay any of us interest on our money they hold without reason. I'm an author and all payments to me are for ebooks yet they hold more than half of my money for three months. It's just an excuse for them to make more money on the interest. No other credit card accepting company does the crap that this company does! Paypal is one of thee worst payment companies on the planet and that is why we use other means of accepting payments. You'd think that with ebay owning them, the people they would keep money from the least would be ebay sellers. Their customer service is the pits as well.

Per their useragreement and per the paperwork submitted to the SEC those funds are placed in a non bearing interest account.
