Someone contacted me last night saying they sent a payment to an email address on my website for a pre-release e-book back in August of this year and she was wondering where the books was. She forwarded me the paypal receipt saying that it went to one of my website email addresses. However, I do not have that address as a valid address on my paypal account. Where did this money go if she received a receipt from paypal saying it was accepted? I've since opened an account using that email address thinking the money would appear then. It didn't. I then closed that account I just set up and added that email address to my existing paypal account hoping it would show up, and it still hasn't. It was only for $3.99 but I'm more concerned about other pre-order payments I may have missed because of this. Any ideas?
