I have received an invoice from a buyer and he marked it as paid?

hello people,

as i understand invoices are only for the buyer's but i was selling him a couple of items on a 3rd party application.

so i recieved an email saying that i have recieved an invoice for 40$ which was the amount decided between us, and that invoice was marked as paid ?

and at the bottom of that invoice said that money was a gift? so can anyone shed some light onto this ? cause i have never used invoices before

Its a scam

Sellers send invoices not buyers

Buyers pay invoices not sellers

Read up on how ppal works before selling  to avoid scammers!!

My guess is that your customer was using the invoicing tool incorrectly to track something that they had purchased.
