I already have money in my paypal why do I still need my credit card?

Hello guys and I was wondering I have money in my paypal I don't want to use my credit card for this is there a way to avoid it?

I simply just want to buy using the credit I already have that wouldent make much sense if you force someone to use a creditcard even though you have the money. It's like going to the store to get an apple you want to buy it the guy says you gotta have the banna to buy it or it won't work.

When you select PayPal as your payment method on a merchant's website, you can log in directly to your PayPal account. If you have a balance in your PayPal account, it will be used first.  If you do not have enough in your balance, you can choose from all the methods in your PayPal wallet to fund the payment.  Be sure to read carefully the prompts and settings you can edit during checkout, such as changing/adding shipping addresses and selecting payment methods.
