How long does a refund take to appear to the bank card used?

After an amount is refunded through pay pal, the confirmation email says that it will go back to the card it was taken from. How long does this take to appear back on my bank card?

Great question!

Although we process refunds back to the card immediately, it can take your card issuer up to 30 days (although this process typically happens much more quickly) to post that credit back to your account.

So in other words,if i have a notice that says "Paypal refund complete" by $65.00USD and i dont see it on my wallet & if not reflect it on my bank account status on net and u saying that is already refund the money on the card instantly(so is there),right?

Example:

 If i buy something and my card is "empty" or with $10.00USD confirmed on my bank account but not the 65USD refund from paypay "but paypal says completed" and i pay $62.USD

the transaction should be fine and complete because the money is there according to paypal , right? my bank should not charge me overdraft because the money is there only this not reflected in the bank website.

Right?
