Help with payment for eBay?

I wasn't thinking straight and I made an offer for an eBay listing and it was accepted. I'm happy about the acceptance and all, but one problem is that I don't have the funds to purchase the item. I however have a pending payment from an item I sold on eBay. On my account overview it said the estimated date is December 22, which it's now 2:30 PM of December 22. But another area said I would receiver my payment on January 7. And now when I try to see the estimated date it says "Try later". I'm really confused and quite anxious. Ebay says I'll have my funds 3 days after a confirmed delivery date. The item I sold was delivered on Monday December 21. So I don't know if it's going to go through tomorrow, or on January 7 as was stated on my paypal account overview. I added tracking information to the listing, and the tracking even says the package was delivered. There are no problems with my listing yet, and the buyer has even left positive feedback. I'm anxious about the seller getting angry about my inability to pay. I'm assuming they will open an unpaid item case and give me negative feedback. I know this is completely my fault for making the offer. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice for me, although I don't think there is much I can do. I hope someone can come to my aid here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Why not just email the seller and explain you are happy to pay but need to wait a few days for the funds to arrive? Most sellers are happy if you just explain to them.

 

Also you do know that sellers CANNOT give you negative feedback??  Buyers can only ever get pos feedback or no feedback at all. Only sellers can receive neg feedback.

I guess I can try to explain it to them. Don't know if they'll be very forgiving of my mistakes, especially after I told them I could probably pay tonight, thinking that the estimation would be correct. But it's worth a shot I guess. But would you know why it would say "Try later" when I tried to get an estimation? Is this a paypal error or something I did? Thanks for the help. 🙂
