I check my banking daily and seen a payment of 83.50 as a paypal personal transfer. So I login to paypal and see that my account must have been hacked and the money was taken out of my checking and sent to an email address that I dont know. There was a link to cancel the transfer so I clicked cancel and called paypal. They had me change my password and security information, and said the money will be returned to my paypal account and then I can transfer it back into my checking.
I've been trying to call paypal all morning and have now been on hold for over an hour (thank god for speaker phone). How long is is going to take to have it put back into payal so I can put it back into my checking? I use paypal maybe 2x a year so I've never used any of the cancel features or anything. I just know I need my money back in my checking asap!
