Easy way to transfer funds to balance?

I receieved a payment via PayPal and I was wondering if there was any way to just put that money into my balance instead of having to send it to my bank then back to my account? Am I missing something or is it taht the only way?

When ever you receive funds, they should go to your PayPal Account Balance.  For example, if someone sends you money or you sell something, the money goes to your PayPal Account Balance first.  You then have the option to leave the funds there or withdraw to your bank account.  If you take no action, the funds remain in your PayPal Account Balance.

 I recieved a payment and it shows it in my recent activity/payments recieved but my balance remains at $0.00

Unfortunately as no one here can view user account info, suggest contacting customer support direct for assistance as they can take a look what is going on.
