Do I need to have a credit card?

Hi guys, this may sound really stupid, but this is my first time using paypal, ever. So anyways, quite recently, I recieved an amount of $24.99 from someone and I would like to redeem it into a video game to purchase premium currency. However, much to my frustration, Paypal asked me for a credit card/pre-paid card. Well, I don't have either, and I don't really want to waste more time than I have to just redeeming some money to buy video game currency! This is incredibly frustrating as I thought Paypal was a more convient method of payment... there's nothing I need a credit card for though! It's just I got 25 dollars from someone else, I claimed it, it's in my account already, so WHY DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO COMPLETE THE PAYMENT? If someone can help me as soon as possible (as the premium currency is on sale right now) and give a solution then that would be most desirable.

You can only use funds in your paypal account balance if you have a back up credit card to verify your account.

That is stupid. I was wondering maybe Paypal would be useful, and now I need a credit card. What a shame, I thought I could actually take a liking to paypal...

Thanks for ruining my day.

Well so sorry i gave up my own time to respond to your post.

Did you want the correct answer or a fairy tale?

All i can give you are the FACTS, I don't make their policies.

But don't worry i shan't bother to give up my time to help you again and "ruin your day" I shall carry on watching my film instead.

No, no, no. I wasn't talking about you. I was saying Paypal itself as a whole. What did you ever do to me to make me say that about you? You're just some random guy that I don't even know. I'm saying paypal ruined my day, if I didn't make that clear then I'm going to make it clear now. Just because I said something doesn't mean you have to automatically take it the wrong way. Is that what you are then? A product of today's modern society into thinking that EVERY SINGLE GOD **bleep** WORD SOMEONE SAYS IS DIRECTED AT SOMEHOW ANGERING YOU? Then I suggest you spend your time learning about the basic setup of the mind before watching whatever film you happen to have in front of you.

And you talk about wasting time. Maybe you can stop watching whatever "film" your watching and learn how to interpret what people say. And considering how long you've been on this forum and how much posts you have under your belt, it's sad to see someone so ignorant and closed-minded! Maybe you can start furnishing that brain of yours before you start talking about others.
