Direct Deposit?

Hello I would like to know if I would be able to set up direct deposit to my pay pal account?   Please get back to me at your earliest.

At this time, direct deposit into a PayPal account isn't available - however, you are able to use the "Add Money" feature to transfer funds directly into your PayPal account, for free!

I would like to know if direct deposit of checks will be offered at any time in the future, or is this simply not going to happen? I am tired of banks, and I would probably hazard a guess that my purchases and sales would increase if I had instant access to my $ and did not have to worry about second parties.

If you would rather not involve a bank in the cycle, there are other options available that you might consider.  For US based customers, you can add funds via this method - MoneyPak.

Hi all!

I just thought I'd pop in with some updated instructions for adding money. 🙂

You can add money to your PayPal account from a confirmed bank account. You can’t fund your PayPal account with a credit card.

Here's how to add money from your confirmed bank account:
 

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Add money in the "Money" section.
3. Click Add money from a U.S. bank account.
4. Select your bank account (if you have more than one).
5. Enter the amount to transfer and click Continue.
6. Review the details and click Submit.
    

Here’s how to find out when the money should arrive in your PayPal account:
 

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Transactions at the top of the page.
3. Click  the transaction in question. You‘ll see the expected clearing date under the Status heading.

If you haven’t received the transfer to your PayPal account a full week after you requested it, contact Customer Service.
