Hello,
My question revolves around creating a set period discount for subscriptions. The searchable info here in older (2013 and back), so I'm wondering if some new solutions have been implemented.
To give a specific example: If your company has a monthly billed service/access (subscription) at a set price, but you'd like to use a marketing tease or a referral discount to give a lower price for the first 30,60 or 90 days AND you'd like that to be a variable amount (10, 20, 30% off, depending on the code entered), how is that accomplished?
Remember...the discounts are only for a period of time then go back to the normal price (your regular subscription) when the promo period ends!
You can't accomplish this from a cart as the price sets as it hands off to Paypal, meaning the lower price won't "change" back to the regular price after the set peiod of time. I can't see a way of doing this outside of Paypal (still using Paypal to handle the charges, of course), so what are the options in 2016?
