Charges Taken Out of Balance Also Coming Out of Smart Connect Account

Hey there.

 

I'm hoping someone here can help me out because I just called PayPal's Smart Connect support and they weren't much help.

 

I have my PayPal Mastercard set up so that any charges I make that cannot be covered by my actual PayPal account are paid by my Smart Connect account. I made two charges, one for Amazon and one for Menards last week and as such, the amounts were taken out of my "Spending Balance" on my Smart Connect account when the payments were authorized. When Monday hit, I received money into my PayPal account and the charges from Amazon and Menards were then taken out of that amount instead. It is now Thursday and neither of those charges have been added back onto my "Spending Balance" for my Smart Connect account. I would assume that the money would be added back onto my Smart Connect account since the charges were covered by my PayPal Balance, not my Smart Connect account.

 

Any thoughts?
