I accidentally paid one of my artists with a paypal payment using her email address instead of via a wire transfer, as she'd requested. She has not accepted this payment, but all the other artists in the mass payment have accepted theirs.
Is there any way to cancel this payment to her, or should I just tell her to ignore messages from PayPal and the payment will auto cancel in 30 days. I want to go ahead and pay her via wire, but I don't want her to accept the payment in PayPal, too.

Hi Kathypark
Here is some info from the website:
How do I cancel a payment?
You can cancel a payment you’ve sent if it shows as Unclaimed and you can see a 'Cancel' button in the 'Action' column for that payment.
This button only appears if the payment was sent to an email address that was misspelled or is not registered with PayPal, preventing the payment from completing.
To cancel the payment:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click History at the top of the page.
- Find the payment you'd like to cancel.
- In the 'Action' column for that Unclaimed transaction, click Cancel.
- Click Cancel Payment.
We cannot reverse a transaction which is Completed so in this case, we suggest that you contact the recipient directly to arrange a refund.
Note: An 'Unclaimed' payment will be automatically returned to the sender after 30 days, if it is not claimed by the recipient.
- If you used a credit or debit card, the money will be returned to the card
- If you used their PayPal balance or bank account, the money will be returned to your PayPal balance.
