So I'm trying to sell a digital item online, and I'm aware of the scam where the buyer tries to fool you into thinking you will receive a payment by sending you an invoice and having it set as marked as paid. Obviously I'm aware that I won't be receiving any money as the seller is supposed to issue the invoice.
My question is about whether or not ill be charged? There was no actual option to select when opening and looking at the invoice I was sent, but the 'marked as paid' bit scares me into thinking I've somehow agreed to pay the invoice? Am I safe or will I be having money taken from me somehow, even though my balance stands at £0.00 due to having just recently made my paypal account?
