OK I have never wrote on one of these forums so please bare with me if I should make any mistakes . I started selling on eBay a little over 90 days ago . I was on their probationary period where my funds were being held for pending sales . I completed their program and was so excited to finally be " Trustworthy " 100 % positive feedback on 4 seperate accounts with over 50 successful sales and about $3500-4500 on the money side . So anyways I get me first sale as a graduated seller , go to my PayPal to check and a message pops up that I now have to graduate a PayPal program for 10 transactions and 60 days ?? The 10 sales are complete but it is saying I only have completed 15 out of my 60 days . Under the bar for amount of days it says I must have an open account in good standing for 60 days with day one being my first transaction ( mind you I have already had it open for over 90 with my first transaction being the second day I opened it . When I called them ( yesterday & today ) Their excuse was that I couldn't be on two programs at once ?? I ask why they started this program in the middle of my account , I asked if there were any treered flags holding it up and they told me no , only that I am a new seller . I told them I am not that new anymore as I have graduated ebay new seller probation period , they told me well ebay is a different company now " lol" ( heard that about 100 times in two phone calls ) I could see if they notified me at the beginning of me opening a new account, but instead they waited for eBay to be done . The reason I am asking if this has happened to anyone else is simply because of one major issue I came across ... EBay has a pay later option for shipping labels that button disappears once you graduate their program , PayPal does not have this same option so when I called them they said I have to " front " The shipping cost again mind you they are putting every sale on pending status meaning that even know I am getting good feedback and entrusting everyone with my product/Items I have to come out of my pocket even more in order to maintain a positive seller account ( some days I sell over 10 items many from New York to California so the shipping can add up to over $150.00 When I got over $600 pending in my account . Please if this is happening to someone else let me know and if there is a way to fix it as I want to keep my buyers happy . Thanks for taking the time to read this , I have researched it everywhere online with no answers so I believe it is only happening to me . Oh just one more thing I noticed .... Even know me & eBay wait til the end to collect our money paypal takes theirs up front instead of waiting three days after confirmed delivery like the rest of us . I don't even know if this will be posted because it seems paypal never wants anyone to know these kind of answers . I think they would rather me ask if ebay and PayPal are the same company lol .
