Hey all, maybe someone faced same issue as I did.

Yesterday I had delays in receiving payments but they all finally were posted to my account.

However I have another trouble that was not resolved yet and paypal representatives on the phone were not helpfull at all to get it resolved.

About a week ago buyer opened return request for the item I sold recently. My available paypal balance got lowered for the amount paid for that item. This is what always happened and once case got resolved in my favor, my available balance  usually got adjusted upward (hold from that amount was released).

However this time something went differently. When request was opened, my balance got lowered as usual, however when it got closed in MY favor, it never went back up and record about "paypal hold" is not there anymore in transaction details.

Has anyone experienced the same thing and what should I do? guys on the phone were not helpfull at all.

Did you buy anything at the time the hold may have been released so it looked as if it was not credited when it was?

No, I did not do anything special.

I was selling on ebay for the last 5 years and know how the system works pretty well.

It actaully happened twice already, one time yesteday and one time this morning.

It just looks like for some reason paypal "forgot" about hold placed on that transactions

Log in to your PayPal account, click on the "Classic Site" link (bottom of page) and then click on the "All activity (with balance)" option. This will show your running PayPal account balance (in the right hand column) after each transaction and should make it easier for you to see changes in your PayPal account balance.

Change the date range to cover whatever period is appropriate. You can view all activity since you opened your PayPal account.
