Want to send money to a friend -> won't recieve it until 2-3 weeks later??

Hello, I want to send money to a friend from the USA (I'm in Canada) by f&f and it says that they will recieve my money only 2-3 weeks later. Wasn't it supposed to be instantly? What can I do so they can recieve the money as soon as I send it?

Are you sure you are selecting the f/f option? Only the 21 days sounds like the new seller hold which is applied if you use the goods / services option.

I am a 100% sure. Actually all my payments and all the money I sent for theast few weeks was always pending even when I sent it through f&f.

ok then how are you FUNDING those paypal payments and what other funding sources do you have linked to your paypal account.

Also do  you get a clearance date on your paypal account?
