Payment says Approved but Funds not taken out for like 3 weeks or so

so payment was approved and i have a backup source, but funds were never taken out for like 3 weeks and then they tried on a wednesday (day before my payday) and I got an NSF all because of this unpredictable mishap by the mercgant or paypal not taking out my funds and completing payment. plus they never used my backup source credit. i have items and technically they are still not paid for, plus my bank reversed the $45 nsf fee. its really their fault i had money the whole time except thar one day before payday.

Me too. Got the reciept from paypal right away and didn't notice the funds had never come out! When they finally did, I didn't recognize the charge. Spent the day on the phone and at the bank trying to sort it all out. In the end, I talked to a really nice customer service rep who told me this charge was old. I insisted it couldn't be, since that charge had come out weeks ago. Oops. He changed his mind and apologized, even though at this point I'm pretty sure he knew he was right. Thankfully I had the money in my account, but what a hassle! I've never had this issue with paypal before.
