Cannot confirm my credit card.

Hi, 

I have a problem with confirming my credit card. Whenever I clicked "Wallet" and clicked on my card that says "confirm", it's suppose to take me to another page and have the confirm box for me to input my 4-digit code. But the box does not appear and Paypal has charged my card $2.45 with the code. Also, there's no messages for me regarding confirmation in my notification box. I called Paypal about this and they charged me again and told me it should appear in my bank statement in half an hour - a day. I still did not get the new code nor did the confirming box appear when I click on my card to try to confirm it. Please help. This is my first time creating a Paypal account and I already have this problem...

That definitely sounds frustrating.

Have you tried using a different internet browser to access our site? You may also want to try clearing your cache and cookies. If you try both of those options and are still unable to view the box to confirm your card, please reach out to us directly by clicking on the 'contact us' link at the bottom of any PayPal page or through Twitter or Facebook so that we can help to troubleshoot this issue.

Thank so much for your reply. I've did what you suggested and it work. But I have the old 4-digit code which I tried to input and didn't work. I tried finding the "Resend PayPal Code" at the bottom of the page and couldn't find it, nor did anything appear in my Notifications box.

Never mind, I figure out that part ^ and got my card confirm. Again, thank you for helping me on my first problem.

Hi , I receive 4 digit numbers to confirm my debit card but I dont have box in my account to put it in what is the problem?

One thing that worked for me (to be shown the box) was to go through the process of withdrawing the money (again, despite the limit). I was shown the box where the code should be inserted during the process of lifting the withdrawal limit. The previous time, the code had been sent to me and the charge was applied to the card. That second time (second withdrawl attempt), I was shown the box to insert the code in.

I had to click the little link at the bottom of the page that said classic view.  There is a link on that page that let's you enter the confirmation number.

I was having the same issue and clicking on "Classic Site" at the bottom of the page worked for me. Thanks for the tip!

Agreed that this is an insanely frustrating process. The Classic View option worked for me easily - thanks for suggestion. The new site seems to prevent one from entering that confirmation code. This is probably to create a longer delay so PayPal has more time to sit on the charge they've created in one's account. This should be of paramount importance to fix on the new site, seems like a total scam otherwise. I've already paid interest on this charge to my card because the process was so annoying and took me several sessions to actually figure out and complete. Shame on you PayPal for not making this easier. I tried this on 3 different browsers (safari, chrome and firefox) and none of them worked until Classic View.
