Etsy payment error.

Ive been using paypal for years and never had any issues, but just this month, i tried to order something from etsy, which i had successfully done just about a month ago, if not a little bit less.

I get through the entire process, logging into paypal, agreeing on the payment and who its going to yada yada..

Then when etsy is processing it says.....

Oh dear. PayPal couldn't process your payment.

Please choose a different payment method on PayPal.

I dont want to link my bank account with paypal and i only have one credit card so id prefer it to stay that way. Each account it operational and functioning, proper adressess.

No weird activity on either account.. Just all of a sudden up and quit. I tried with a different seller on etsy thinking maybe there was a glitch with the original purchase but it happened again.

So it has nothing to do with the seller on etsy, or my account..

Sorry to hear about the troubles you're experiencing trying to make your payment.

Since you're trying different merchants, it does sound like it's an issue with your PayPal account.  It might be that we're having an issue validating that card you have on file, or since you bring it up, you might've hit your sending limit and would need to confirm a bank to your account.  Those are what immediately come to mind; you'd need to give us a call so we can review your account and see what's happening.
