paypal refund not received

A vendor had to cancel a shipment 4/22/17 and Paypay sent an acknowledgement of the refund but never put the money back into my account How do I force this to happen?

first make sure it is a Paypal notice you received.
second,where are you and where is the vendor,do you accept foreign currency?
look into your activities,if you paid with a credit card,it goes back to your credit card account,check the statement
