Using Paypal Credit for a private purchase and applying 6 month no interest financing

I am looking to purchase a musical instrument from a private party.    The instrument will be over $99 and I would like to use my Paypal credit line.    How can I do this and have the purchase be eligible for 6 month no interest financing?    If the seller invoices me, will this allow me to use Paypal credit and have the purchase eligible?

I understand that the seller will be charged fees.    I imainge I will work that out in the negociated price with the seller.

Any suggestions and help is appreciated.

ask him to invoice you via Paypal, when you are ready to pay,the Paypal credit option in on the screen, then it is offered.

I am afraid it would not ,as it is a private transaction.

No likely.

Have the seller send a detailed invoice, including pictures and shipping and delivery information.  When you get to the point of paying PayPal will display those options available.  If PPC is there, use it, if not, then you can't.  Just be aware the PayPal will do a final review of the funding source and may actually reject PPC and then transfer funding to your backup source, so make sure you backup funding can cover it, just in case.

I would strongly discourage the seller from using PayPal as a method of payment for a local pickup.  For local, just deal in cash.
